 At CARE, we believe in empowering all newcomers with the digital skills necessary for thriving in today's technological world.  Our focus is on inclusive digital education to bridge the digital divide and ensure no one is left behind in the job market and in the integration process. The curriculum is develop by https://code.org/ user friendly for anyone with advance computer skills to teach the subject for the first time adults students.

 Our Target Groups: Empowering All Through Digital Literacy 

1. Adults
   Many adults, particularly newcomers, face challenges with digital literacy. Through tailored workshops and one-on-one support, we equip them with the skills needed to navigate the digital world—whether it's managing online banking, accessing essential government services, or enhancing their employment opportunities through online job search platforms.
2. High School Students with Computer Deficiencies
   Immigrant high school students have limited access to technology and struggle with computer skills. We provide resources and training to help bridge the gap, ensuring  they are prepared for future learning and employment as technology is driven our world. 
3.  Seniors
   Many immigrant/ among other seniors find technology intimidating and become more vulnerable of online scams. We offer specialized digital literacy programs that cater to their unique needs, from learning how to use smartphones and computers for daily tasks. Our goal is to help seniors stay connected, safe, and empowered in today’s digital society.  

The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre offers an online resource called ‘Tricks of the trade: What’s in a fraudster’s toolbox? What’s in yours?’ that aims to raise awareness of top scams and how to avoid them. Scams that most frequently target seniors include the grandparent scam, romance scam, investment scam and service scams.

Digital Accessibility & Online Safety
Digital accessibility is key to fostering an evolving and inclusive Canadian society. We ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can access and benefit from digital resources. Our workshops also emphasize online safety, teaching best practices for protecting personal information, recognizing online scams, and ensuring a safe digital environment.
